Watamu Beach is located close to Malindi on the North coast of Kenya. The shoreline of Watamu has pristine beaches and offshore coral formations arranged in three bays: Watamu Bay, Blue Lagoon and Turtle Bay.

The area is part of the Watamu Marine Reserve Park and is a protected Biosphere Reserve. If you get the chance, go snorkelling and diving here. The area around the coral reef formations is considered to be amongst the best for snorkelling and diving in East Africa.
